There are several ways to hunt. Both on large and small game. After all, it remains a responsible activity that must be taken seriously. This is also the case with this exceptional hunting watch, including the symbol of Saint Hubert. The basis of the design is, as with every Willem van den Berg watch, the story that is told. This hunting watch, commissioned by Willem van den Berg, is special and authentic. With a lot of artisanal knowledge and creativity, in collaboration with two other masters of the Dutch Guild of Goldsmiths, this watch is once again a masterpiece that can also be seen as an ode to the centuries-old hunting sport. This 18 krt. (750/1000) gold watch tells the story of the “Boar Hunt”.
Saint Hubert
The gold of the dial gives the green enamel a warm color and despite the busy presentation it gives a calm image. A tight, narrow chapter ring with only the hour indication bears the signature of “Willem van den Berg”. The attractive gold hands are handmade in the shape of pine needles and an oak leaf serves as the second hand. The watch therefore radiates the right atmosphere of a refined but tough appearance that fits so well with this yacht. On the back of the watch there is an 18 krt. (750/1000) white gold plaque depicting the patron saint of the hunt, “Saint Hubert”. A deer head with a shining cross between its antlers is the symbol in the legend.

Enamel dial
The gold dial has a hand-engraved romantic scene depicting a group of wild boars in a hilly and wooded area and invites you to investigate. If you look closely you will find next to the three wild boars also an owl that chases the fleeing mice. The full moon gives the waiting hunter enough light to spot it.
Ammunition case
The watch is presented in an authentic ammunition case for bullets. There are 3 compartments in which are stored; 1 oak watch box with the watch, 1 “making off” brochure, not to mention 1 bottle of Jägermeister with 2 glasses for a toast with your driver on a good yacht. If necessary, a tusk can also be stored as a trophy.
